Dearest friends and family,
We held a memorial celebration July 16th In honor of David Elliott - a kind and generous man.
We had such a wonderful time - remembering the wonderful things he gave to the world, not just as a journalist and non profit director, but as a husband, father and friend to many.
It was beautiful! About a hundred people showed up.
My son and daughter each played and sang a song, I played one too - and we had a videographer record the service and afterwards wander through the crowd - to capture anecdotes from people who knew David - it was extraordinarily uplifting, and a fitting tribute to his life. I think he would have loved it!Those who wanted to attend but were unable to will be able to watch the video of the service which will be available to watch in a few weeks.
